摘要：there has been recent interest in categorical invariants of singularities in algebraic geometry. one associates to any local noetherian ring a triangulated category called the "stable derived category", which reflects certain homological
information about the singularities of the local ring. we will discuss two natural properties of this invariant: the effect of completing the local ring, and the role of singular points as generators.
